SESB wants to take action against illegal electricity connectors in Sabah

Ahmad Fuad Md Kasim, the general manager of SESB (Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd) said that the company is discussing with the Energy Commission of Malaysia in finding ways to curb quarters making illegal connections for electricity. He said "From the aspects of operational effectiveness, there seems to be some success, confiscating cables used for illegal connections but unfortunately the people involved continue to make illegal connections. We at SESB will not remain quiet...we will have more discussions with the commission to see what appropriate action can be taken so that squatters were not spared from the law,"

DPM shocked at PAS Members who hurled verbal abusive words

Deputy Prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has expressed his shock that some PAS members hurled verbal abuse at him during his rounds at the Manik Urai by-election. he said "It does not matter. Perhaps, I may get more rewards in the hereafter. The attitude of the PAS supporters could be driven by political sentiments and their desire to win the by-election at all costs, although it was contrary to Islamic principles.”
