Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the deputy prime minister commented that he do not know why Datuk Chua Jui Meng, the former health minister resigned from the MCA and joined the PKR (Parti Keadilan Rakyat) but stated that it is a normal phenomenon. He said "That (resigning from MCA) is his right. There must be a reason. We should not make a big issue of it. Chua might have left due to his own political considerations or he would have resigned because of internal problems in MCA ... I am not sure," source: www.malaysiatoday.com
